Supervision and assessing

Working online and in-person, I’m familiar with Blackboard, Turnitin and Zoom for handling remote marking and supervision for a range of performing arts students and movement research students in different contexts.

2021 I supervise and grade Rose Bruford European Theatre Arts BA3 students on their dissertations.

2021 Visiting lecturer and second marker for Artist as Faciliator module, MA Choreography, University of Lincoln

2019-ongoing I supervise, grade and tutor to BA dance, theatre and musical theatre students on ther papers and dissertations (theory; theory and practice) at Bird College.

2013-2014 I was an external supervisor to Maya Felixbrodt during her MA in music composition at The Royal Conservatory of Music in the Hague, NL. As a CMA (Certified Laban Movement Analyst), I supported her deployment of Laban’s Effort theory within her research and practice.

2013-ongoing I assess and give feedback to both written and practical work in HE programmes that I teach in (i.e. in 2021 this is the University of New Bucks where I lead a module on an introduction to choreography and movement skills for performing arts and drama students), and on the Certification programme in Laban Movement Analysis.
