Darren Suffolk, is Director/Producer at The Outlook Creative Group, a creative team that design, produce and deliver digital media, video and live communications. He consulted me as choreographer to create and teach a group of non-dancers for their client BGL. The BGL Review of the Year was being shot as a lip-dub video, with a some of the staff dancing in one of the sections. Over one morning, I taught a 30-second dance and we shot the scene.
‘Ali was great, the dance was above and beyond our expectations. She worked brilliantly with the office staff, both in teaching the dance and keeping their energy up for the shoot.’
The shoot used a crane to get aerial shots of the dance, and you can see various costumes used for a carnivalesque feel (part of the brief).
